1- HSE Engineer

ZED Solar is looking for a qualified and experienced HSE ENGINEER, responsible to plan, direct, and implement proactively Environmental, Health, and Safety programs to ensure safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment. Position will be instrumental in driving an improved safety culture across.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or similar field required with 3-5 years’ experience

Skills & Abilities

Relevant trainings in HSE discipline preferably in Oil and gas sector
Preferably qualified ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Certified Internal Auditor
Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably minimum two years of experience in oil and gas sector
With outstanding communication skill in English.
Must be physically able and willing to conduct site inspections and field engineering work.

Job Responsibilities:

To implement, review, update and improve the HSE Management system
To improve HSE awareness amongst the workforce
To take part in subcontractor approval, safety audits and measuring performance
To review, revise and develop Technical HSE Procedures in accordance to the project requirement.
To conduct HSE Internal trainings (Identify need, Gap, Training Modules review etc.) and plan weekly/monthly internal HSE training as required
To propose recommendations to field engineers on practicable methods of risk controls.
To organize and conduct basic firefighting training and conduct regular emergency drills for human safety and equipment safety
To oversee, maintain and periodically service all fire-fighting, rescue and emergency response equipment in the manufacturing facility and the field site
Safety Briefing / Induction for visitors
To issue Safety Alerts as required
Fire Risk Assessment in Buildings

2- SCADA Engineer

ZED Solar is looking for a qualified and experienced SCADA ENGINEER responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining SCADA systems for Solar Power Plant.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics and Control Engineering or similar field required with 3-5 years’ experience. 3 years SCADA system development experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry is preferred.

Skills & Abilities

Able to design and develop SCADA and Distributed Control System.
Must have at least 3 years’ hands on experience in the following:
PLC programming
Sensor integration with PLC
Motor speed and position control
Communication (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet etc.)
HMI integration and programming
Experience in Data logging and server setup with SCADA will be preferred
Knowledge of Control System Theory will be preferred
Ability to evaluate existing and proposed systems and recommend upgrades and/or modifications
Able to establish and document operations procedures
With outstanding communication skill in English.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work in a small team environment, sometimes under a great deal of stress.
Ability to communicate well and quickly trouble-shoot problems will be required.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with the SCADA Infrastructure and Implementation, integration, operation and security of SCADA control systems.
Design, document, implement and maintain essential SCADA and control systems and components for electric power and distribution networks.
Troubleshoot and keep SCADA systems running at optimum level, maximizing their uptime.
Maintain and create, as needed, scripts to perform special functions or automated reports.
SCADA system support and maintenance including system updates or patching.
Provide appropriate and timely technical advice on matters relating to SCADA and control systems.
Learn all facets of system and perform work in an independent manner as well as in a team environment as the job requires.
Ensures all technical work is undertaken to the correct standards and specifications
Carry out duties in accordance with Power safety, environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values and strategies.
